Ok, guys. I've come to the decision that I'm getting a HDx16 to replace my dv6575us.

But I see that it comes with the 6-cell battery. I remember on the dv6, going from 6 to 12 cell was amazing, does the HDX offer any bigger battery or just use the same 12 cell from the dv line?

can someone please answer this question because I'm thinking about getting the hdx16 instead of the dv7, but I noticed the hdx16 only has a 6 cell. How is the battery life on that?

Battery life is around 2 hours conservatively. HP will probably provide a 12cell sooner or later, since the 6cell replacements for dv5t/dv7t/hdx16t/dv4t etc. are all the same, and they have a 12cell option.
