    I have dell lcd 24"

I want to be able to hookup - the dv6000 to it. But am looking for dvi output.

Does the dv6000 have a docking port accessory that you can plug the laptop into and maybe that port accessory has dvi?

The dv9000 has hdmi right, so it's possible to plug that into the lcd using dvi-hdmi cable?

someone here reported they received a dv9000z and there was NO hdmi port. You might have problems with hdmi anyway as HDMI is supposed to have limited resolution support (ei 720p 1080i 1080p - TV res). This might not be the case (HDMI has the bandwidth) but I am suspect until someone reports otherwise.
