    Does the dv6t quad edition throttle?

    Does the dv6t quad edition throttle(cpu multi drops) with Prime95 + Furmark with the following configuration?

    Core i7 2630qm
    ATI 6770m

    My previous SXPS 1645 throttled with the 720qm and 4670. I dont want a similar experience.

    You should update the title to include both the DV6tque and DV7tqe.

    I'd really like to know....

    Here is a link the the Envy thread that has the software and some of the test results. Mine didn't throttle....but one of the programs never loaded.

    As I typed this....it just hit me. I have a DV6....I wonder if my issue was trying to run it at 1600*900?
