This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    If you are placing an order at HP don't forget about ebates.com. Right now there is 5% cashback on all orders at HP. Sign in to eBates, or if you're not already a member, then sign up and choose the pull down menu at the left and scroll down to HP Home and select it. It will link you to HP and just go and configure and order your laptop. It takes like three months to get your cash back, but still worth the $40-$60 you will get back. So in the end, my DV6z I ordered will cost only about $820 with all said and done!
