    I just found this one out. My down arrow key doesn't seem to work at all on my nearly new DV4000.

    Did you even try updating the keyboard drivers at all?

    Try looking the HP driver page for your laptop. (you'll have to select your OS)

    Also, make sure there's nothing under your key. That would stop it from working. ;)
