Everything is in my sig.... Anyway, this is my second attempt at this and so far everything is good. Basic stuff ie. audio, video, and wireless drivers are installed. But still missing more... here's what i'm missing. Oh and i can't seem to find a proper nvidia nforce driver to work with my laptop. I got the one from nvidia's site but i still don't see my network card in devices aside from my broadcom wireless one.

have you tried the laptopvideo2go.com drivers? they have drivers especially for xp 32/64bit for pretty much all nvidia cards

You might be able to get the rest from the HP website under the Support section > XP drivers not vista

tried looking under my laptops model under xp and no luck on the rest of the drivers. As for video drivers i've already got that covered and working nicely under xp :D The rest are still a mystery

Congratulations! Enjoy XP on those machines. It blows vista out the water in terms of speed and performance.

Can you tell us how much more battery life you get under XP?

I'll test the battery life, mind you i have the extended battery on my notebook. But also it doesn't have those performance modes like vista did where you go half cpu power when disconnected from AC power. I'm using a 3rd party program to control that and its called "Notebook Hardware Control" I'll report back when i get results.
