    I have the Drive Encryption for HP ProtectTools and hp protect tools secutrity manager installed as wella s my finger print software drivers. when i set up the drive encryption it wont let me use the finger print reader. says its not supported or configured. lets me use it in windows and on windows logon but during boot when it goes to the drive encrpy menu it only lets me use wiondows password. does anyone know why?

    maybe you can try using truecrypt?

    try updating the drivers for the fingerprint scanner.

    my finger print reader works fine in windows and during log on to windows. just hp protect tools security manager wont find the finger print reader.
