I currently installed the driver 177.92 w/the modded INF. http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers/vista64/177.92 It's telling me "Playback stopped. No VGA resource available" Is there a more up-to-date driver that allows full function? This driver upped my 3DMark06 by about 125+/- points. I don't think it is worth losing my blu-ray playback for such a little up in the mark score. Please Help! Thanks, Jae

Drivers which are now WHQL certified won't run Blu Ray movies. You have to download a driver which is WHQL certified. If your hardware detects there have been modifications done to the existing WHQL due to an installation of a non-WHQL driver it will stop the video output immediately. If you want to game better then 177.92 drivers are really nice. However if you want Blu Ray playback function also then you have to search for a WHQL compliant drivers from the laptopvideo2go forums itself.

You can also type dxdiag in the run menu to know whether your existing drivers are WHQL logoed or not.

I have the same experience. I've looked for the WHQL certified drivers from laptopvideo2go and installed them as well, but still could not get blueray playback to work

Does anyone have a recommended driver?

No idea then because whenever I have downloaded the WHQLed drivers for my desktop, the Blu Ray playback was enabled. Of course now I have installed 180.42 64 bit .

I went back to the original driver and now the aspect ratio is completely off. How can i fix this?

EDIT: I restarted the blu-ray, The Hulk, and it's aspect ratio is good. But the new control scheme won't disappear. This is not a problem with India Jones. Just the Hulk. What gives?

Sorry no Blu Ray drive on my notebook, so can't test it.

Use Driver Cleaner or Driver Sweeper to remove the previous drivers' settings which is left behind in the registry during uninstallation. Then reinstall your desired driver.

There are reasons to stick with officially released drivers from HP. This happens to be one of those reasons.
