Hello! I just bought a new laptop - HP Verve with GeForce 8400M GS. I like it very much, BUT. The oly question I have - is it possible to update driver for it? My current driver is about year old, on hp web site they have the same driver, and latest driver on nvidia.com doesn't seem to support my card - they have 8400 gs, 8400 gt, but no 8400 M GS, wich is a cut version of 8400 GS.
    Thank you for you help!

www.laptopvideo2go.com. I suggest using the 169.09 drivers. Download GPU-z for all your gpu info

    Follow the instructions here

You need to download the modded .inf which will enable mobile gpu support. It will work for the Geforce 7xxx and 8xxx series. Ive been using 169.09 drivers for a while. I have the same notebook as you.

169.09 is the most stable drivers for the 8400m GS as far as i know. It also performs quite well. Though you might wanna experiment with other drivers (17x.xx series) for better performance

What strategy games are we talking about? I mostly play FPS games
