The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Drivers Not installing.. help

    For some reason, the drivers I download from the HP site are not updating the hardware.

    For instance, the Broadcom drivers for my dv2315nr are at the HP site. I downloaded them and ran them, yet my broadcom drivers are still from 12/2006 (checked in device manager), I even uninstalled and restarted and ran the program. I can't get them to update.

    Any ideas? thanks much.
