Wow. It sure does look like that Clevo 18in revealed sometime ago.

    http://blog.laptopmag.com/exclusive-hands-on-with-voodoos-firefly-concept-gaming-laptop

And a MultiTouch trackpad, Backlit keyboard (with m15x-esque customizable colours), Creative X-Fi audio and a Dual Hinge like the HDX 20. WOW.

I’m thinking you’d have to be shallow to not see the inner beauty of this machine, I know there are many more handsome units out there, but their attractiveness at best could only be described as smoke and mirrors.

I find it to be really ugly, but to some it may be attractive.
I do not understand why any laptop manufacturer would ever put two screens on the same side of the lid, and a touchpad on the side of the keyboard. It is pretty counterproductive in my opinion.

    Final Thoughts
"Though the Firefly will not come to market, we’re glad Voodoo is attempting to push the gaming notebook envelope. Features like a backlit keyboard and the ability to overclock the system have been done before, but this is one of the first notebook with a secondary display directly beneath the primary LCD, which could be used for all sorts of applications. Moreover, the multi-touch trackpad was a stellar idea, and its placement is ideal for gamers, assuming HP and Voodoo can figure out how to make it work better for first-person shooters. Sure, the Firefly is not the sleekest concept we’ve seen, but we’ll be excited to see how Voodoo and HP leverage and tweak its innovations going forward."

for those who hate it as you can see by this quote from laptop mag it isnt coming out so you can rejoice but i dont know i think they will bring this out but that second screen wont be there :D

i like the touchpad to the right of the keyboard. i would like to see someone else do that if i ever get a 17 inch.
mainly i like it because there is nowhere to rest your palm under the touchpad normally. which is why i like business laptops...

MAYBE since theres no normal touchpad, they could take that FOUR inches with the extra screen (and speakers), have a much shorter palmrest area too, and MAYBE it would fit in your backpack and weigh under 10 pounds!

or maybe they could take it further and have really long laptops with dual screens and no palmrests? hmm 13 inch screen next to a 5 inch screen makes 17...
or i could build one? who knows? yeah never gonna happen huh.

I want a second screen but for a different purpose. A dedicated MP3 player (as a separate hardware device) would be my dream on a laptop. No audio skips ever, just crystal clear music. :)

give me a 15inch with the same simple style that the 133 had, but with the customizable backlit keyboard, nvidia 280, or some 300 (thinking into the future) and an integrated 9400 for better battery life and an led screen, and I would be voodoo's doll for a year
