I have a HP I have a dv7t with 8 gb RAM and 1TB hard drive. The system came pre loaded with WIN 7 64 bit professional and also came with 2 system recovery discs.
I want to dual boot the laptop, with 500 gb for win7 and remaining 500 gb for the second win7.
    How to achieve this?

    I tried the following.
Created a new partition(G:\) for 500 gb and formatted it, hoping to install the second win 7 on G:\.
But when I used the system recovery disc to boot and install it on G:\, it gave me a warning that all my disk would be reformatted and laptop would be brought back to factory settings.

    Need help on overcoming this.

    Thanks
