I have a problem with my DV9074cl, it has dual 100GB HDD´s, WIN XP MCE 2005 Preinstalled, but i can´t install windows vista on the second drive, the installer adevices me that this computer´s hardware may not support booting to that disk and ask´s me to ensure that the disk controller is enabled in the computer´s BIOS menu, but, the BIOS doesn´t offer me this option.

    Can anybody help me?

I have a dv9500t with dual 100g hard drives that I boot vista off one HD and XP off the other.

I had no option in the bios to select boot drive so I use Acronis OS Selector which is a component included with Acronis disc director. OS selector allows me to select which HD to boot / install from.

yup the BIOS doesnt offer booting from the second drive, you need a boot manager for that.
