    Dual Monitor Setup

    I am on the verge of ordering an 8730w with the FX3700 GCard. Using XP Pro Operating system, is it possible to connect an external monitor and run two different screens.

    It is on my DV5t for sure.
    IT can mirror and run too desktops for extra space. You decide.

    Yes, you can.

    Just connect the display, and press Fn + F8 a few times until the display comes up on both screens. You can duplicate the screen, or usually do an "extended Desktop" which extends the screen area to both monitors.
