    Dv 4 Blinking Mute Button light on Boot up

    Hi,

    I have a spare laptop with a issue, its a Pavilion DV 4, Intel CPU. When I boot up the laptop, I see the Mute button light (the media smart touchpad area) blink orange and white consistently.

    The screen is not powered on and it just stays that way. I already checked memory and hard drive and the basics yet.

    Anyone know what this "signal" means? Dead video card, dead screen?
