    Hi,
    i ordered dv7 with a single 1TB hard drive and i will add an SSD later,do HP ship the laptop with an extra caddy and connector inside the laptop for the second hard drive or not?.If not from where can i get it?.thanks

    No they do not ship it with the necessary hardware to connect a second hdd unless you order it with 2 hdd's. The only place to get the caddy as of right now i directly from hp. Just make sure you specify you want the LONGER cable and not the shorter one lol.

    I would definitely call the seller and make sure itsthe right thing. And you need the caddy too.
