    Dv 9010us Corrupt bios

    tryed updating the bios for vista and it got corrupt i tryed Phoenix Crisis Recovery but the fn+b or win+b does not work i even made a cd the laptop will try to read the cd but nothing happens so does anyone know how to fix this hp won't help they just tell me to send it in, and a tech guy for microcenter said they should have a bios flash disk but know at hp will help with this so if anyone can help thanks

    For something like faulty BIOS, HP is basically the only way to fix it. The CD drive or a floppy drive won't work...because the BIOS loads first and the BIOS controls those devices...and your BIOS are fried. It it cannot even POST, there is no way to fix it from your end.

    all new bios have a write protect sector that allows for simple boot of a cd or floppy drive i just need somekind of flash bios cd or the 2 key combo to get it to boot from the floppy fn+b or win+b does not work
