    Dv1000 - DVD out to TV?

    I have a dv1000 and I want to watch dvd movies on my television screen via the notebook's dvd-rom...I've never tried anything like this because I've never had a notebook - so how would I do this?

    and in the event you dont have a S-vedio out (most new notebooks do) you can always get a PCIMA card that does the same thing
