Will there be a difference in reliability and/or build quality between the dv2000 and the V3000? Additionally, which do people recommend? I really don't care about the webcam, ded graphics, or the extra media controls and I'd like to save some money. I just don't want to sacrafice reliability, build quality, weight, or battery life.

    Thanks,

The quality for both the dv2000 and v3000 are the same -- excelent. Personally, I would go with the v3000 since it has better asthetic qualities and less expensive than its hp counterpart.

I agree. I have had my v3000t for just a day, and it feels sturdy and nice. the keyboard has a good feel, and there are no loose hinges etc. Seems to be a nice buy to me, except for all the bloatware that HP sent.

I'm going with the hp for two reasons:
1-I will order it with a dedcated graphics card
    2-it looks nicer (IMO)
