Hey, I got my 2500t a couple days ago and one thing I've noticed is the screen has a blue tint to it. I know that this is common with cheap lcds but the tint seems to be heavier than on other monitors I've had in the past. Especially when compared to my desktop monitor which you can see in the picture. I've messed around with the nvidia control planel a little but haven't gotten really good results. Can anyone recommend some to me? Should I just expect to have an lcd that doesn't look very good on a laptop when compared to a desktop? Another thing I've noticed is that the lcd seems too bright in a way, blacks aren't very black and there is always kind of a blue haze to it because of the light. One of the diagnostic programs said I had a LG/Phillips LP141WX3 planel. Different from the one talked about it the review as that was supposedly a Quanta panel.

Nobody else has this problem? Might it be a defect with my computer?

i think a large co. like hp uses different LCD manufacturers.

maybe you have a color balance problem? too bad notebooks don't have LCD control panels like stand-alone screens. If you haven't already tried, use the gamma settings in the control panel.
