Bought a new Hp dv4-2045dx and an Asus G60 VX in November 09. I had to exchange both of them.... The Asus G60 had build quality issues, the second one that I got also had a similar issue and I ended up returning the G60. :(

Now for the HP... I exchanged the HP initially as It kept freezing up... I should have returned it, but did not learn my lesson and kept it...

Now I am having audio issue with the dv-2045dx. Skype freezes up and If I plug in the headphones and take it out the audio will not work at all.....

The only solution is a Re-boot... This is very VERY annoying  I seemed to have the latest Audio drivers, but still went ahead and downloaded the latest audio drivers from the HP support site and installed it. Have to test it to see if that resolved the issue.

I am hoping, some of you guys would be able to help me out with the issue that I currently have

The driver update seems to have resolved the issue... Skype still hangs for some weird reason... Not sure

There is still a lot of bloatware on the system. Will have to uninstall them, planning to use this guide for it.. http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=432564
