    Hi!
Sorry if this is answered somewhere else, couldn't find with search button

Which is the bus speed of the dv4000? I've seen on the hp website that it's 400Mhz,while in other sites it's statted to be 533Mhz... So, which one is correct, if you buy a custmized model?

    Thx!

I'm not sure of the "official" specs, but the RAM that comes with it is definitely 533Mhz rated ram....whether the actual bus speed is 533Mhz, well...I don't have the answer.

The processor you select will dictate the chipset you receive, which will dictate the bus speed.

I opted for the P-M 2.0GHz with 533Mhz FSB and I can confirm that Kingston Value RAM 1GB, PC4200 (533Mhz) works fine.
