    Hey everyone,

I'm at a hotel and would like to watch some stuff from my laptop on the tv in here. I have a Dv4t and it has HDMI out and VGA out. What cable do I need to connect to this tv? It has RCA and S Vid inputs. I already have the audio cable so that's not an issue. Thanks!

You're right about them thinking everyone owns 73 inch plasma, lol.

I did find a vga to s-video/rca converter and got excited for a second but all four reviews were one star due to it not working. I suppose the people who bought it could all have been too ignorant to turn down the resolution though I'm not sure.

That HDMI cable looks pretty good, but still only to HD. Hmmmmm... I'll keep digging around and see if I can come up with anything.

I don't know about 73 inches but most folks should be getting around to getting a flat screen. They're cheap enough. Why should new computers be supporting old technology, anyway?

I travel a lot and most of the hotels I stay at are perfectly nice but aren't up to speed on technology. At my home I'm fine, but it would be nice to have some flexibility when on the road. Plus, the notebooks don't have to keep old technology, though I was wondering if there were some conversion cables I had been missing.
