Ok guys i have a big big problem here. The sound overlay keeps coming on every 2 seconds with the sound like its changing the volume, but it isnt. If i try using my finger it goes up and down maybe 2 bars then goes back to where it was stuck at after going mental for another 5 seconds. I can only change the volume using the taskbar icon, but the overlay keeps coming on. mute doesnt work, pause/play etc doesnt work, quickplay. You can imagine its incredibly annoying.

Is there a driver i can reinstall or something?

Its a vid file of the problem, when you see the bars going up and down, thats me trying to change the volume.

I would uninstall and reinstall both quickplay and your audio drivers. Make sure to dl the last drivers from hp website.

I think I know what you are talking about, I have the same problem.

You can simply Terminate the Process "Quicktouch On-Screen Display" or similar. After that, the touch butons will operate fine, and there will be no on-screen display for it. ;)

You can so to Run > Services.msc, and disable it completely so it wont start up either. ;)

Here is how to Disable It From Starting Up. ;)

1: Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run.

2: Type in "msconfig" and Click Ok.

3: Go to the Startup Tab, Find "HP QuickTouch On Screen Display", and Uncheck It.

4: Go to Apply, and Restart. It shouldnt start up now. ;)
