    Dv5000t AC adaptor problem

    I plugged it in and it's not working for some reason.

    It works maybe 40/60 now, and I can hear some beeping on the power box[(is that normal)the box with the serial and barcode on it]?

    Well that did it.

    The cord attached to the powerbox thing started sparking about 1-2 cm away from the powerbox, now there's a hole there. Smells like something burned.
