    Dv5000z Problem with Lights

    My dv5000z is about 1 wk old and when I turn the wireless on the blue light tries to come on but doesn't and sometimes it will come on for about 10 secs then go off. Why is it doing that? Do I need to call HP to get it fixed?

    The wireless light on my dv5000z does that too. It comes on when booting up for a few seconds then goes off. The wireless works though, so I don't see a problem with the light. If there's no issue about the wireless not working then you should call HP, but it's just the light.

    Wireless works. I just thought it was weird that the light was not working.
