I want to upgrade my ram from 2 gigs to 4. So I'm completely new to upgrading. After researching I found that a dv5t would take a ddr2 800mhz 200pins and a pc2 of 6200 or 6400 right? What is pc2 anyways?

Different names for the same thing. It's DDR2 PC2-6400 800 Mhz RAM.
