    Hi All..

First I want to apologize for nun grammatical English :)

Am gonna make it Short ..

I have Hp Laptop 1135ee With Spec :

    intel Core2 Duo P8400 2.26
    3G Ram
    3 Mb cashe
    Nvidida 9600 GT
And now am using windows 7 ( Fresh and clean install) ..But i noticed that my WEI Is 4.8 and here is a screen shot
    [img=http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/6180/captureky6.th.jpg]
How come my GPU get 4.8 And in Vista gets 5 !!

Although I installed the latest driver software for my GPU 179.48_notebook_winvista_32bit_beta

    This problem number 1

problem Number 2 that ..When i use windows 7 themes that called (areo) i face lag for 1 sec when i close any windows and when i browse my files !!

this lag disappeared when i use the basic them ( Not the Aero one ) it's totally dissapared and i can browse and close my files Very fast without any lag !!

So the Question here .. is my GPU performance going down or what ??

After i bought it the welcome msg screen on vista was taken like 3 sec now it takes 15 sec ..even with clean installation for the windows ..

I really disappointed and don't know what should i do :(

I bough the laptop one month ago BTW :(

dude you should relax about this.

its probably due to the nature of the beta software. after all windows 7 is still in beta and not in production. that means there are some bugs with the code, which is expected. this should hopefully be resolved when it is released.

And what about the laptop performance ..

Is it possible that the performance of the laptop can counting down for no reason ?

Windows 7 introduces a newer Windows Experience Index scale instead of a cap of 5.9 it goes to 7.9
It has also updated the hardware so yes your 9600m GT is only a 4.8
Even in Vista when you've updated as of February 2009 (especially with a CPU of 2.26GHz) you will only get a WEI score of 4.8
You have to realise that since Windows 7 is still in Beta (April will most likely be the RC1), that the drivers for all the hardware are also still in Beta.
Your GPU may just need the latest driver to fix that lag issue.
