Ok, I researched thoroughly for 3 months before deciding on the DV6-6190us.
I have been happy with it so far, but I recently began bringing it to work and therefore purchased a laptop lock/cable. Every laptop I have ever owned has the lock slot all the way in the back on one side of it, so as to have enough room for the lock and not interfere with anything.
WELL, HP decided to put the power cord in the very back and then the lock hole in front of it?? ?? How is this design flaw even possible??
I have a corded lock with key mechanism and it fits, but puts a lot of pressure on the power adapter, and I assume will eventually break it off the inside of the laptop. I also have one of the combination lock/cables that won't even fit!
I am dumbfounded on how they missed putting the lock hole as the last input. Someone please help me out here.
