My dvt6 quad 2630m never will go over 1995.7mhz,
the bus speed is 99.8mhz instead of the 100 it should be,
but in any case it will not turbo. I have tried all 3 settings on coolsense.
And thought performance will let it turbo to 2.6-2.9ghz.
    Why can't I turbo?
    Thanks

You cant make it turbo with a button unless you use 3rd party software i believe to overclock it, in a sense forcing it to a turbo speed. What scenarios did you feel it wasnt turbo-ing in? Also what program are you using to check your multiplier/clocks?

Note your cpu needs to be stressed for it to turbo to a higher speed

I might have figured it out, you have to reboot after you put coolsense into performance mode to enable turbo. Still, I run prime 95 with just one thread to simulate maximum 1 core turbo and at most can get to 2.6ghz. More threads/cores gets up to 92 C with all 8 threads and 2.0ghz. SO, IT NEVER GETS 2.7, 2.8, or 2.9 GHZ even with one core. And I use core temp and cpu-z to monitor the speeds.
