Today i upgraded my dv6500t again. This time i put in an OEM t8300. After putting it in the bios reads it and it runs fine ( Im on it right now ). Anyways i will be using it and it idle's nicely at 40*C to 50*C but randomly it will jump to 83*C for core 1 and 97*C for core 2 the fans will spin full speed then it will drop down right back to normal. Anyone have any idea i am running the most up to date bios F.59.

    Thanks in advance

Software glitch perhaps? Try a different temp monitor

What max temps do you get when you stress it out?

No im pretty sure its reading correctly. Im using HWmoniter. When it says its getting really hot around 90*C the fans jump to full speed but then everything goes back to normal in a matter of seconds and they drop to normal speed.

Oh my god. Of course when i go to boot it up its dead. My only charger broke yesterday. Looks like this will have to wait some time. After straining for a good 10 minutes at diffrent angles through the ram slow i could read its an SLAPA.
