Does anyone know if the new expresso black dv6t's backlit keyboard is the same in terms of layout wise to the hdx16t? Because if it is, do you think one can swap out the hdx16t's chrome keyboard layout and switch it with the expresso black dv6t's keyboard?
I think that it would look nice.

BTW, I have a friend who also has a hdx16t and wishes she never bought the backlit keyboard because she never uses it. I was wondering that if i asked if i can swap her backlit keyboard with mines (nonbacklit) what would I need to do?

Will it come out in one whole piece that I can just easily swap?

anyone with any experience? can some of you guys post pictures of the backlit keyboards form HP? -> besides the dv3000t

Sorry I don't know. But your friend has a hdx16 with backlit keyboard? She must have just got it. I have not seem a hdx16 with it yet. What color are the keys and what does it look like? I just ordered mine with it but dying to know what it looks like. Good luck with your mod.
