hi i just ordered a dv6t quad edition and i was just wondering what do you think about the laptop? i am concerned just about the size and weight because i love the specs that it come with.
i will be a college student and i will probably carry my laptop around, to take notes etc. How big is the laptop?? i just saw the xps 15 at my friend's house and it was a beast i can't imagine myself carry that around.

So for you owners please let me know what do you think. from videos and pictures the laptop seemed very thin and light but i just want to see what people who actually own the laptop think

i have a dv6t quad edition(6091 sandy bridge revision) that I bought primarily for college. if you do not plan on playing games, you could probably do with something smaller/cheaper. I personally do not think it is that big or heavy, but everyone has their own opinion on size/weight though. I personally really like the laptop. The i7 processor and the 6770m are outstanding pieces of hardware. If you are planning to put the laptop in a backpack or something, I doubt you will ever notice the weight

dv6 should be generally a good size to carry around, just perfect if you ask me.. i have the dv7 and i bring it to class once in awhile without any problems, it's a little bit bigger but it's worth it to me..
