I just got this laptop and, as you can see from this pictures, something is definitely going wrong. My video card is the radeon 7690m xt. Yet, I can't run Just Cause 2 on the absolute minimum specs. I find it curious that the benchmark shows me having "intel graphics". I am not aware of any switchable graphics on my laptop and I have looked around under the graphics options and found nothing helpful.

Anyone know whats going on? I looked around for drivers and found nothing.

    Thanks

-also, there is no catalyst control center like on my last pc...and I am having trouble downloading it on amd's site due to "imcompatible hardware".

Have you switch the graphics on the desktop - right click and there should be configure switchable graphics.

Not sure if they kept the bios settings where you still have to switch from dynamic to Fixed mode.

Just confirm us. You'll notice if it is dynamic (if after you switch if in case you find the configure switchable graphics) you should see where you set each program to power saving or high performance, for fixed mode you have 2 options but will be for the whole time not specific to programs but same options power saving or high performance.

I figured out how to set specific programs to power saving or high performance, but I see nothing about fixed or dynamic. Just Cause 2 benchmark increased to 40 fps :)

when you are starting up the computer hold f10 to enter the bios setup. Next, hit the right arrow key a couple of times(I forget how many) and somewhere there will be an option to change the graphics from dynamic to fixed.

Once that is done, start up your computer and right click on your desktop and select "configure switchable graphics" and you should be able to choose which graphics card is being used
