    Dv7 1250Eeo no video on startup

    Hi

    Yesterday my laptop went from functional to not functional :eek: . Suddenly the screen was just pitch black.



    I have tried the following:



    Swapping the harddrive from bay 1 to bay 2, no luck
    Tested the ram 1 at a time, no luck
    Testet the harddrive in another computer, working fine in another computer
    Connected an external screen to the computer, no luck
    I have dissasembled the laptop to look for visible indicators. All i found was a bit of dust..so no luck there either.

    The caps lock and num lock leds are blinking with 1 second intervals. i have tried to count the blinks but after reaching 15 i stopped. My guess is that there is approx. 1 second between each blink



    Any help would be appriciated!
