If you want to use drivers other than the ones provided from HP, then you would have to mod the drivers to recognize your mobility HD3450 since ATi doesn't provide drivers for these directly(you have to go through an OEM like HP). Look through the Gaming section, there are resources linking you to the modded drivers.

Did you run any benchmarks for us in vista? I'm curious how this card did compared to the 512MB 9600M
