Getting ready to purchase the DV8000 probably in Jan-06. Just wondering if someone can tell if there is a big difference going from the AMD Turion 64 ML-32 1.8GHz to the 2.0 GHz or 2.2 GHz. I will be using the system primarily for business productivity.
Hope someone can advise.
Thanks,
Michael

I would say that if you can afford it, go for the ML-37 - you'll get a performance increase in some applications. Also, if you have a lot of applications open at once, the 1MB of L2 cache will help. The L2 cache is a small bank of high-speed memory located close to or on the CPU, where frequently accessed information is stored - so the more, the better.
If you can't afford to go to the ML-37 though, then you won't have any problems with the ML-32. -
I think you'll be better off using the cash to get more ram and/or a faster hard drive instead.
