Has anyone else experienced problems with hard drive recognition? I've got a Dv8t with 6gb RAM, and I'm using usb hub. There are times when flash drives and hard drives just won't be recognized when plugged into either the hub or directly, then when you reboot and use the computer based usb ports the drive works and then continues to work when using it with the hub. The worst problem happened when I tried to use Windows 7 backup and the backup essentially crashed after 13% done. After that the machine wouldn't consistently recognize my external drives until I recovered the entire system. Tech support treats my question like I'm from outer space - they never heard of such a problem. Anyone else? AB
