Has anyone sent for this in yet? I actually was supposed to send my lappie in for the enhanced on the mainboard replacement, and just found out about this other enhancement plan when I set up the repair call yesterday. It's a good thing I waited until when I did becuase I was going to send in this lappie a month or so ago and it would not have been under the enhanced hinge.

Question for me is, I have already had this higne problem repaired long ago when it first cracked. Since then, the screen was getting more and more wobbly, and I have wanted to send it back in, but couldn't because I passed the 90 days which the original hinge repair covered.

I am hoping that they will just go through with this and re-repair the hinge since it is now under the enhanced (and they are doing the mainboard at the same time) but I am wondering if anyone has ever had an experience like this - where they had to send to HP on repairs for the same thing twice - and how they treated you ... did they cover it without question if it was under warranty, or I wonder if they give you trouble on a second repair.

The left hinge of my HP laptop cracked about 6 months ago. The warranty expired 3 weeks before that. I even posted a picture here and asked for help. I was super glad when HP notified me they would fix it. I sen it in last Friday. They received on Monday. I got it back today, Wednesday. Cracked left hinge was fixed. For some reasons, they reinstalled the factory softwares. Other than that, the service was outstanding. They paid for air freight shipping both way. The problem was fixed quickly.

All I have to say is: THANKS, HP.
