    Hi guys,
long time since i last posted anything.
One of these days i was using an external speaker and it stopped working(no sound), don't know why, then i removed the p2 plug to see if sound was working through the internal speakers and it was, but only through the left speaker, i tried removing the drivers and everything, like moving the balance sliders, but the problem persisted. BTW the right speaker was already popped(even though used to work) causing it to output a lot of noise along with the sound.
What may be the problem here? broken soundcard? I thought maybe if i replace the sound board(is it how this thing is named? http://s.ecrater.com/stores/97283/4b415dfe9ba5a_97283n.jpg) it would do any good.
What you guys think of it?
    thanks everyone in advance.

I doubt that would fix your problem. It is just an interface card, not the actual "sound" card. There is a chance that the headphone plug is damaged, in which case replaceing this board would help. However, these plugs usualy use a single switch to turn off the internal speakers when you plug in the headset. Since the left speaker is working, this probably isn't your problem.
