Hey guys, long time lurker and just recently bought a refurbished envy 14 from the HP Outlet store. I've already done a clean install and everything is working great however I am running into an issue with my external monitor.

I have my computer set up so that when I close the lid, nothing happens (the computer doesn't sleep/hibernate). When I am using an external monitor in projector only mode and I close the lid, nothing happens (like it should) and everything is fine. However, when I reopen the lid it goes to "duplicate display" instead of "projector only", and I have to manually change it back.

Is there any way of making it so that it stays on "projector only" mode?

    Thanks in advance

    probably not.

I've noticed this too. I'm blaming ATI on this one.
