1035 with an i5 processor? You can grab a beats edition with an i7 from HP for 1049.

Don't know why this is a good/urgent deal. Hasn't Amazon had the price at $984.99 for awhile?

Wasn't it under $800 a few days ago? I wouldn't pay $1000 for old tech.

Amazon has the same price as Newegg and doesn't charge tax. Plus, free 2 day shipping for prime members (although right now there is some wait time). Getting it from HP is definitely the better deal, but the only downside is that you have to wait for it to be built.

Anyway, I guess this thread is getting kind of redundant.

    Amazon prize:

    $1,028.99+ ???
Not sure how you are getting 2 day shipping for free unless you have Amazon Prime.

    Newegg Price:

$984.99+$9.99 shipping 3 day UPS guaranteed
    Total is
    $994.98

California, New Jersey, and Tennessee are the only states that pay tax.

Okay so you save $34.01 not $40. But who knows how much shipping is with amazon, so it may be $40.

Look at more buying choices, directly from Amazon...I happened to mention that you do need Prime in my post (and added that there is now a wait time, which there wasn't a few days ago) but there is free super saver shipping. And for the states that do pay tax (I happen to live in one of them), paying no tax saves a lot more money, especially on a purchase like this. Plus, 30 day return policy for a refund and not just a replacement.
