If you own an Envy 15 (and even if you don't necessarily want a Zagg Invishield) please consider clicking over here to Zagg.com and fill out the form, requesting that they create an invisishield for the HP Envy 15 notebook. I've used the Invisishield for my macbook pro, my Vaio P, its a great protection solution. I really want one to keep my Envy Beats scratch free. If you're willing please post below to confirm you've sent in a request to Zagg. Thanks!

Are they going to work on adding a shield to the LCD Bezel??? I would totally give Zagg support if they also would do work on the Bezel.

I would like to know this also, if it protects the lcd bezel I would buy regardless of the price, this damn soft plastic bezel gets on my nerves.

a bezel shield? i doubt it. I'm hoping they make a shield for the bottom of the unit too. care more about the bottom than the palmrest. i'm so picky about scratches, my black beats model is scratch free but has tiny "hairline" scratches along the clearcoat, sort of like on automobile paint job. even these tiny imperfections irritate me. which is why I now have a brand new beats external chassis to replace it with if the zagg skin is ever released.... and yes, my bezel does have a scuff mark on it, probably simply from wiping it down with a microfiber cloth. really crappy plastic. I actually took the bezel off to swap out the lcd screen. If you ever need or want to replace the bezel yourself (or the screen or whatever) you'll see just how cheap and bendy the bezel is. why not a magnesium bezel?

I so want them to make one for us regarding the bezel shield. I even have a spare bezel that I can send in for them to work with (that one is so beat up cosmetically, but it will work for fitting). That is the only part of the Envy for me that is worth a shield for (since the rest of my Envy is all Magnesium Coated, not the like Beats Glossy Coated). -
I agree completely, if this is possible I would love for it to happen. The Bezel is the only thing that needs protecting imo, the rest of the envy is pretty much perfect, maybe a protector for the keyboard would help as well.

just to be clear, the envy beats is made of the same metal components as the standard envy, it just has a paint job (a very nice one IMHO)

I got a skinit, work nicely. Pretty awesome.

I'd rather have some kinda invisishield... skin would hide the nice design of the envy that I and people who've seen it admire. Can anyone who's had more experience with Zaggs query about the bezel protector idea? I've never bought anything from them except an ipod skin.
-
they've never offered a bezel sheild to the best of my knowledge. i added a detailed email with my request, asking they include bottom skin protection.
-
anybody else email zagg for a shield?
-
I threw in a request for you even though I doubt I'd buy one.

Sent in a request. Could be useful if I every get my hands on an Envy 15...

thanks for contacting zagg, guys, i appreciate it. Its funny, I actually used some liquid glass wax on my envy beats today, to help protect my clearcoat. it looks (shiny!) and feels (smooth!) amazing. Don't recommend waxing regular aluminum/magnesium of course.
