I've got all the latest BIOS 1.A and Intel drivers installed. If I am on a shared wifi router and another computer logs on (not an ENVY) using wifi my internet access is gone and only recoverable if I reboot in Windows safe mode with networking or the other computer disconnects from wifi and internet. Alternatively i could reset the router which is not always an option.

Can anyone suggest what is the problem? It only happens with the ENVY. Other laptops and Android tablets can log on/off normally.

I should add that I may have fixed the issue.

I was using a swapped in N6300 wifi card since the originally shipped N6200 was giving the common freeze problem with large file downloads that many HP ENVY 17 users had complained of including myself. The N6300 froze a lot less, although it did freeze still. Since now swapping back to the N6200 following HP recent albeit incredibly late BIOS update to F1.A I seemed to have stopped the problem and the freezes have stopped.... I hope.
