    Hello everyone,

From over one month I'm trying to reduce the crosstalk effect on this laptop. Unfortunately without any success.. I have also contacted HP support, they told me to download the latest drivers - great idea (still the same issue). I have searched the Internet and found a lot of complaints regarding crosstalk issue.. Maybe someone of you found a way to reduce it ?? or has a better contact with HP support and can get more informations from them.. Will it ever be fixed ?? or I have to get rid of it ??

    Best regards

I just got my envy 17 3d delivered today (I haven't even gotten home from work to play with it yet). I'll let you know if I experience anything.

Can you give a little more detail on the issues you're having?

Ghosting sounds like an image thing, and if I see anything like that HP is going to get the laptop shipped back to them. By crosstalk, do you mean that thing where you voice chat with someone and they hear their own voice back? that's usually because the sound is coming out of your speakers and going back into the mic you're using to chat. or is there a different issue?

    Hi
I understand totally your problem. In 3d mode the Envy 17 is very bad. The notebook is good in 2D, but 3D mode is poor. I think the problem is the video card and the AMD vision 3D that is not good as Nvidia 3D vision. I also tried to solve the problem without a solution. A small improvement can be achieved by increasing the brightness and reducing the contrast (for example brightness 20, contrast 50).
I do not think the problem is the crosstalk. You can try this ISO FILE CROSSTALK TEST

and verify that it is good (very good). I think that is the video card and the AMD system poor, and is not able to reproduce correctly the 3D files. Best regards
