So I got my envy 14 beats edition only a few months ago.

I did a clean install of win 7 and everything seemed to be fine. The computer runs perfectly when doing normal internet browsing or word processing. When I start playing games, I get a black screen and restart, or see a ton of artifacts and have to restart manually.

I think its probably graphics card issue, but I only installed the included driver from swsetup. After happening a few times, I tried an updated driver, but with no luck.

Do I need to get contact hp for a new card?

After windows restarts, it gives me the information below.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Did it have this issue before the clean install?

Try uninstalling the drivers completely and reinstalling with the latest HP drivers. After that, install the latest 11.5 drivers over that, those can be found in the driver thread on the first page

It did not have the issue before the clean install, but I was not attempting to play games then. I just tried a driver uninstall and reinstall, but I'm still having the issue. I'm worried my graphics card is failing =/

I'm trying to run some stress tests now..
