This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Edge Lit SXGA Unevenness (some pics)

    I did mention this in passing when I got my nc6320 but after taking some pics of a mystery tiny dot in the week I thought I'd post up some of the leakage/bleed/unevenness. (Not sure which is the best description out of the three).

    It's an edge lit SXGA and this is really only on the left hand side. To my untrained eye it looks like they over tightened the panel to the bezel. It's not the easiest to see from a jpg so I've bunged some markers in.

    You can only really notice it on black/darkest blue and while watching video playback which can be mildly distracting. I'll live with it TBH but some defining and whether it is bezel related might be useful.
