I wonder if DreamColor display built in 8730w is limited to 24 bit color
because quadro 3700m doesn't support 30 bit color??

To rephrase the question, if current line of quadro x700 series is replaced
with mxm card that supports 30 bit color, will this DreamColor display
    accept 30 bit input??

Chances are HP won't support upgrades beyond 3700M as they will launch a refreshed model on the next gen Intel platform with the 4700/4800M (or whatever it'll be called by then) and they will force you to buy a new notebook instead.

    no hard feelings,

but this is like listening karaoke on the song written by hp product marketing
    'experts'..

i would like technical answer, from someone who actually have read
    specifications of this particular display..

i'm not interested in upgrades, just in the possibility of mobile 30 bit color
    display..
