Whenever I enable UAC in Windows Vista on my dv2500t, I get a black screen for a minute (or more) with a cursor after the welcome screen. It's fairly annoying, and it still happens when I use TweakUAC to put it in quiet mode. When I turn UAC off it doesn't give me the black screen but it takes longer to boot up.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? It's extremely annoying. It doesn't do this on my a6152n desktop.

(The task bar also resizes to twice the normal size for a few seconds after the black screen goes away, if this helps for description purposes.)

Thanks :) I've got all the Windows updates that are required (or came through Windows Update), but I don't think I installed any optional ones unless they came through Windows Update.
