In my NC8000 I currently have:

    Li-Ion 8-cell Primary Battery DG105A
    Li-Ion 8-Cell MultiBay Battery DC889A

Which together give me around 5-6hrs battery life.

This is adequate... but I could use more...

I've seen the enhanced batteries coming out for some of the newer Compaq/HP laptops but from what I've been able to discern they are of a different form factor than what my laptop requires.

Does anyone know of "enhanced" batteries that will be compatible with older HP Business Laptops?

I'm guessing that there is probably not much out there for an "older" (read: 2004) laptop and that my battery configuration is probably as good as it can be, however improving the battery life (if I can get it up to 7-8hrs) will allow me to hold on to this laptop for awhile longer...

Any advice would be much appreciated!

The newer HPs can use a travel battery, but the nc8000 does not have the appropriate connector on the underside of the notebook for them, so unfortunately you can only use the Multibay and primary batteries.
